From payments, financial services, technology, policy, and leadership, the decisions made within complex systems have real consequences for people, businesses, and communities. Yet these systems are often discussed in ways that feel inaccessible, disconnected, or overly technical.
Our mission is to bridge that gap.
Through research, opinion pieces, conversations, and practical insight, Systems to Strategy explores how systems influence opportunity, inclusion, and progress. We bring together ideas from academia, industry and lived experience to help people better understand the forces shaping our world and make more informed decisions within it.

2. Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Josinah Mathebula.
To many, I’m simply Mamie.
I am a strategist and a transformation leader with experience spanning payments, technology, government, regulation, data, and business transformation. Throughout my career, I have worked on initiatives that sit at the intersection of business, technology and public impact, providing a unique perspective on how decisions made within complex systems shape organisational outcomes, economic participation and everyday experiences.
Overtime, I became increasingly interested in a broader question: How do we build systems that not only operate efficiently, but also create meaningful value for the people they are intended to serve? That question led me beyond project delivery and into writing, thought leadership and the creation of this platform.
Systems to Strategy was founded to explore these intersections, challenge conventional thinking and contribute to conversations about the future of leadership, technology, finance and society.
